ROAM is a large-scale sculpture made during a fellowship with Black Cube, a nomadic Art Museum. The 26-foot, abstracted, neon tumbleweed consists of five neon forms - illuminated individually to create a perpetual rolling movement. The sculpture is designed to move from location to location within the state of Colorado, it started at Marjorie Park, southeast of Denver, moved to the campus of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, up to Boulder, sideways to Lafayette, and soon south to Colorado Springs.
ROAM was made in partnership with Black Cube, RMCAD, BMOCA and has worked with the city of Lafayette and Gallery of Contemporay Art in Colorado Springs.
